Despite his weird ego tirades, I’ve been a fan since his first record. The songs are almost always great, and what other rapper is so supportive of animation? He’s either used or referenced Bill Plympton, Ralph Bakshi, Takashi Murukami, and Jim Henson to direct his videos! Ever since Kanye was nice to my sister while riding in an elevator with her, I’ve managed to look past his craziness. Making some thoroughly-enjoyable records doesn’t hurt, either.
